treat others the way you want to be treated / Monday, September 27, 2010 @ 4:33:00 PM
Lesson learnt.
Humans are selfish. They laugh at people when they fall but don't want people to laugh at them when they fall. They jeer at people when they score lower than them in any tests and when they score lower than other people, they laugh at them and they don't like it. They judge people but they don't allow others to judge them. This is how the world revolves. For however you treat people, you'll be treated the same way back. So if you want to be treated nicely, why not just take the first step to treat others nicely?
A lot of teachers taught us values. They say that acquiring values are important. We often ignore what they say and think that whatever they are saying is just plain bullcrap. Till the end, when you graduate from your studies, results aren't as important as values. So what if you get countless of As? So what if you study everyday and all you want is to get the best results? Can values overpower results? No. Results is probably just to acknowledge how much knowledge and skills you have. (To me.) Well, different individuals have different thinkings.
F.Y.I, I'm not implying this on anyone.
